Patch note - V25 update

We are pleased to introduce the [Forgotten Legacy] update, the 25th update featuring a new Continent, Equipments, Upgrade systems, and Level Expansion, to offer even better service to our players.


1. Character Max Level Expansion



The maximum level, which was previously 190, will now be expanded to 200.



2. Addition of New Equipment Items



New weapons and armor will be added for each class.

※ The new armor items will be available for all male and female class types.

New equipment can be equipped by characters Lv.180 or higher for weapons and Lv.185 or higher for armor,And these can be obtained at a low chance by defeating certain monsters located in the newly added areas: [Forgotten Flaris] and [Forgotten Mas Dungeon]


※ New weapons and armor are C-grade Baruna items.


※ The new Lv.180 weapons do not support the 2H Weapon Combination System at this time.

This feature will be provided in a future update.



3. New Region [Forgotten Flaris]



Thousands of years ago, Flaris disappeared somewhere under the overwhelming power of Ivillis…



For a very long time, Flaris had been forgotten.


As the mysterious force began to weaken, it was rediscovered by an explorer who ventured into the unknown.



It looked familiar… yet its true nature was nothing like the Flaris we once knew.

The Flaris that vanished for centuries due to an unknown force is no longer the Flaris we remember!


Adventurers! Explore this mysterious land immediately and eliminate the looming threats!

A new region, the Forgotten Flaris continent, has been added, featuring monsters from level 174 to 193.



To travel to Forgotten Flaris, characters level 170 or higher must complete a quest from Explorer Do and Explorer Da in Flarine.


After completing the quest, you can enter the area by speaking with Explorer Do.



Forgotten Flaris is similar to the original Flaris, yet transformed.


Due to the curse of Ivillis, the monsters that roam this land have become extremely savage and far more powerful than before.



Do not miss the opportunity to explore Forgotten Flaris, a land lost to Ivillis’ curse for centuries!



※ Event monsters do not appear in the Forgotten Flaris continent.


If you die and do not use a Scroll of Resurrection, you will revive in Flarine in the original Flaris continent.



4. New Dungeon [Forgotten Mars Dungeon]

A new dungeon, Forgotten Mars Dungeon, has been added, featuring monsters from level 179 to 200.



This dungeon strongly resembles the Mars Dungeon before it was taken over by the Yggdrasil monsters—


but the power of the enemies here is on an entirely different level.



Within the dungeon, you can obtain new equipment items,


as well as [Baruna Evolution Stone] used for C-grade Baruna evolution,


and Unappraised [Nameless Essence]s.



※ If you die inside Forgotten Mars Dungeon and do not use a Scroll of Resurrection,


   you will respawn in Flarine on the original Flaris continent.


※ Forgotten Mars Dungeon is an instance dungeon accessible to characters level 175 or above 


   No entry materials are required, and the re-entry cooldown is 180 minutes.

6. Instance Dungeon Re-Entry Cooldown Reduction Item


A new item will be added that reduces the re-entry cooldown of the last instance dungeon you entered when used.


[Information of New Item]

Ex)


1) If you clear the Wild Dungeon and then use the item,


   the re-entry cooldown will be reduced by 10 minutes, making the remaining cooldown 30 minutes.


2) If there are 23 minutes left on the cooldown and you use 3 of the items, the cooldown will be fully reset,


   allowing you to enter the dungeon immediately.


3) If there are 11 minutes left and you use 1 item, only 1 minute will remain.


※ The Instance Dungeon Re-entry Cooldown Reduction Orb can be purchased from the Cash Shop for 25 Cash each.


※ When the server is restarted or maintenance is performed, dungeon re-entry cooldowns will be reset    regardless of item usage.  In such cases, items will not be restored even if their effects could not be fully utilized due to the   reset.7. Addition of Baruna Evolution System[Addition of C-Grade Baruna Equipments]The newly added Lv.180 weapons and Lv.185 armor are created as C-grade Baruna equipment, unlike the existing Baruna items.[Evolution Requirements]C-grade or higher Baruna gear can be evolved after completing +20 upgrade, using the Baruna Evolution Stone.Evolution is guaranteed at 100% through the Baruna Spirit.


※ Only the 185-level Devil armor set and the Fallen Angel weapons support Baruna Evolution.


  Primordial, Yggdrasil, and all other gear released prior to this update cannot be evolved with the


  Baruna Evolution system.



[Evolution system]


Upon evolution, the upgrade level resets to 0, but existing upgrade options and other upgrades(awakening, jewels, etc.) are retained,


After evolution, the equipment can be further upgraded up to +5 using the new upgrade system.



[Upgrade of Evolved Equipments]


Evolved Baruna gear can be upgraded through the Baruna Spirit,


or using [Awakening Catalyst].



[Awakening Catalyst] come in three grades, and the upgrade stages they enable are as follows:



Lower-tier Awakening Catalyst: Enables upgrade to level 1-3


Mid-tier Awakening Catalyst: Enables upgrade to level 1-4


Upper-tier Awakening Catalyst: Enables upgrade to level 1-5



※ Awakening Catalysts are used identically for both weapons and armor.



[Upgrade Chance]


Upgrade chance for total 5 levels(+1 ~ +5) :


+1: 60%

+2: 30%

+3: 15%

+4: 7.5%

+5: 3.75%


※ Evolution upgrade does not receive any success-rate increase from the Baruna Spirit’s level.



[Penalty for Failure]


Chance of item destruction upon failure:


+1: 90%


+2: 92%


+3: 95%


+4: 97%


+5: 99%



When using [Scroll of Baruna Evolution Protection], you can prevent the item from being destroyed if evolution upgrade fails.



If evolution upgrade fails and the item is not destroyed, the upgrade level will decrease by 1 with a 100% chance.



Ex: Failure at +2 → drops to +1



If the protection scroll was used while at +0, the failure will simply result in no changes to the upgrade level.



> Summary


Without Scroll of Baruna Evolution Protection: If evolution upgrade fails, the item may be destroyed, and even if not destroyed, the upgrade level drops.


With Scroll of Baruna Evolution Protection: The item will not be destroyed upon failure, but the upgrade level will drop.



[Upgrade options for Evolved Equipments]


Upon evolution, it retains the attack and defense values of the existing +20 upgrade



Attack and Defense increases as follows according to its additional Evolution Upgrade level.

Ex)


If a weapon’s upgraded attack power is 1331–1462, upgrading it to +5 will increase its stats to 1597–1754.


This rate is applied equally to all weapons and armor.



[Additional Options from Evolution Upgrade]


Items upgraded through Evolution Upgrade will only gain base ATK/DEF increases at +1 and +2, and additional options will be granted from +3

[Materials for Evolution Upgrade]


The number of Awakening Catalyst consumed during Evolution Upgrade varies depending on both the current upgrade level and the grade of the Awakening Catalyst being used.

[Set Effects based on Total Upgrade Levels]


When the total upgrade level across all equipped items — including weapons — reaches certain thresholds, the following set effects will be activated.

Ex) Set Effects at total +23 upgrades


-Hit +45%

- Max HP +25%

- Speed +7%

- All Stat +15

- Additional Attack +5%


8. Addition of Essence System


By appraising the Nameless Essence obtained in Forgotten Flaris and Forgotten Mars Dungeon,


you can turn it into an Essence with a specific grade and equip it on a cloak.


[Essence Grade]


When appraising a Nameless Essence, it is converted into one Essence of the following grades:


Common / Uncommon / Rare / Heroic / Legendary


[Essence Appraisal Scroll]


Essence Appraisal Scroll : Can be purchased from the Jewelry NPC for 2,000,000 Penya


Essence Advanced Appraisal Scroll : Can be purchased from the Cash Shop for 200 Cash


[How to Appraise Essence]


1) Visit the Jewelry NPC located in each town and select [Essence Appraisal]


2) Register the [Nameless Essence] and the [Essence Appraisal Scroll], then click confirm


[Essence Appraisal]


When appraised, you will receive 1 Essence with one of the five grades (Common/Uncommon/Rare/Heroic/Legendary) and one of the five stats (STR, DEX, INT, STA, All Stats).


The stat value will be determined within a range based on the grade of the Essence.


Ex) If you obtain a Common/STR essence during appraisal, that essence will have a value between 1 and 5


Ex) Essence of STR (Common): Strength +3


[Essence Appraisal Probability]


Essence Appraisal is calculated through the following 3 steps of probability:



1) Stat Type Selection (applies to all scrolls)


One of the following 5 stats is selected with an equal probability of 20% each:


> STR, DEX, INT, STA, All Stats



2) Tier Determination (varies based on the type of Scroll)


The tier is determined according to the probabilities of the scroll used:

Ex) If it has a common tier, its stat value will be determined within “1~5”.


3) Value Determination (equal probability within the grade’s range)


After the grade is determined, all possible values within its range have equal probability.


Ex) If it has a common tier:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 → 20% each

The same rule applies for all other grades:


All possible values within the grade’s numerical range have equal probability.

[Essence Trading]


1) Unappraised [Nameless Essence] can be traded between characters.


2) Once an Essence has been appraised, it becomes SL.


   You can use an [Essence Unbinding Scroll] to change it back to a tradable item.


3) If an appraised Essence is awakened, it becomes untradable and can no longer be unbound.



[Essence Slot Expansion & Success Rate]


To use Essences, you must expand Essence Slots through the Jewelry NPC.


The Essence Slots can be applied to your cloak using an [Essence Slot Expansion Scroll].

If slot expansion fails, the cloak may be destroyed depending on the probability.


Using an [Essence Slot Expansion Protection] Scroll will prevent destruction.


[Essence Awakening Options]


When using an [Essence Awakening Scroll] on an appraised Essence, an awakening option will be granted.


An Essence must be fully awakened in order to be equipped into a cloak slot.



Essence Awakening can only be attempted once per Essence.


[Essence Awakening Reroll]


To awaken or re-roll an Essence, the following conditions must be met:


1) The Essence must be appraised


2) The Essence must be in an extracted state


An awakened Essence can be re-rolled using an [Essence Awakening Reroll Scroll].



Each Essence grade has a maximum number of available reroll attempts.

Awakening attempts are displayed as (Remaining Attempts / Max Attempts), like piercing items.


Ex) Essence of STR(Rare) : STR +10 (3/10)

- This means the Essence currently has STR +10 applied,

  and 3 out of 10 total awakenings remain.



[Obtainable Awakening Options]


Essence Awakening/Awakening Reroll grants a random option based on probability,


and then assigns a final value within that option’s possible range.


Ex) If STR +10 is granted through awakening

> A STR option is selected with a 3.4% chance among 30 possible options

> Then, within STR’s value range, +10 is assigned with a 5% probability


The probability of Awakening and Awakening Reroll are identical.

[Essence Extraction & Application]


If an Essence has already been applied, you can use an [Essence Extraction Scroll] to successfully extract it with a 100% success rate.


When extracting, you may also choose to remove only the specific Essence you want from among those currently equipped.
