Upgrading
When upgrading an item, the weapon/armor will not break during a failure when going from 0 to +1, +1 to +2, and +2 to +3. Once your weapon/armor is +3, you must use a Scroll of SProtect to ensure your weapon/armor does not break during future upgrades.

Elemental Property
Elements are strong against the element to their right and weak against the element to their left. (e.g. A weapon with the Fire element will do more damage to a Monster with the Wind element but will do less damage against a Monster with the water Element.) A player's armor can be Elemented. The same rules apply to Elemented armor.
Elemental Glow
The higher your elemental upgrade the more your weapon glows.
Disenchanting Element
If you are unhappy with your weapon's choice of elemental enchantment, you can visit the NPC BoBoChan in Flarine to remove all current elemental upgrades from it. Disenchanting has a weapon has a 100% Success rate.

Jewel Setting
Jewels are used in the creation of Ultimate Items and the Crafting of Unique Items. They also are used to give bonus stats to Ultimate Weapons that are upgraded past +5.
Materials:
Jewel Creation:
Any weapon level 60 or higher can be converted into jewels. If the weapon is upgraded +5 or higher (Non-elemental upgrade) there is a 100% chance of successfully turning it into jewels.
Jewel Creation Rates:
Turn upgraded weapons you are no longer using into Jewels and save them up for your ultimate weapon.
Jewel Setting:
Step 1: Start with an Ultimate Weapon that is upgraded +6 or higher.
Step 2: Insert your Ultimate Weapon in the window to the left.
Step 3: Place the jewel you�d like to use the windows to the right.
Step 4: Click the Start button.
If you are unhappy with the stats you received, you can remove the most recently set Jewel by double-clicking a Moonstone and then clicking on the weapon.
Jewel Attributes:

Unique Weapon Conversion
Please note that upgrading a Blue Weapon to a Unique Weapon can cause the weapon to break (and disappear from your inventory) during any conversion.
Materials:
Creating a Shining Oricalkum:
Use 5 sunstones and 5 moonstones to create a Shining Oricalkum.
Unique Conversion
Step 1: Place your Shining Oricalkum in the left box.
Step 2: Place your blue weapon in the middle box.
Step 3: Place the corresponding jewel in the right box.
Step 4: Press Start to begin.
Statted weapons will transfer their stat bonuses to the Unique Weapon.
Elemental properties from the blue weapon will be transferred to the Unique Weapon.
Ultimate Weapons
Please note that upgrading an Ultimate Weapon can result in the weapon breaking (and disappearing from your inventory) during any upgrade. The use of a Scroll of XProtect is necessary to prevent breaking during any Ultimate weapon upgrade.

Use 5 sunstones and 5 moonstones to create a Shining Oricalkum.
Ultimate Weapon Conversion

Step 3: Place your +10 Unique weapon in the middle box.
Step 4: Place the correct jewel in the right box.

Characters duel-wielding Ultimate Weapons will only receive bonuses from the weapon in the Right Hand.
